Topic: Hidden Hazards: Understanding Psychosocial Risks in the Workplace

This will be an interactive session focused on psychosocial hazards in the workplace issues such as burnout, workplace violence, excessive workload, exclusion, and the impacts of night work. Participants will work in small groups to complete a “Hidden Hazards” quiz that includes scenario-based, true/false, and discussion questions designed to highlight common misconceptions and emerging research related to psychosocial safety.

After the small group discussions, we’ll bring everyone together to review the questions and have groups share their perspectives and approaches for addressing these types of hazards in their organizations.

The meeting will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Marie Callender’s in Orange, and dinner will be served during the event. Meal options – Pot Roast Dinner, Chicken Pot Pie, or Fettuccini – will be provided, and each dinner includes a non-alcoholic beverage and dessert. Vegetarian option available.
