Synopsis:

Today, total worker health is something that is relevant especially after several years of a pandemic when employees have been stressed emotionally and physically. Leaders and individuals within the industry need practical tools that can reduce stress and frustration within the workplace. We also cannot look at the workplace as a silo and need to connect the health and safety of the enterprise with the health and safety of the person. We are seeing people re-evaluating what is important to them and that starts with assessing their personal and professional life both physically and mentally. There is still a lot of anxiety around going back into the workplace after working from home, the stressors are plentiful, and we have to learn how to protect our own energy so that we can show up as the best versions of ourselves in and outside of the workplace.

In this session, you will learn about four pillars of human safety that can affect our total worker health: Community, Education & Skills, Environment, and Wellbeing.

Attendees are walked-through the process of conducting their own Personal Hazard Assessment using these four pillars as a guide. Attendees will gain practical tips and tools that, if implemented daily, will reduce stress and frustration inside and outside of the workplace. Changing the workplace culture truly starts with each individual.
