currently looking for a knowledgeable, results-driven Health and Safety/Risk Manager to join and
lead the team.
 Ensure that all workplace and on-site activities comply with OSHA and company safety
 Provide oversight, direction, and mentoring to production managers
 Lead HSE Department in reviewing, developing, and writing policies, programs, and safe
operating procedures
 Assist the VP of Safety and Risk Management in managing regional liability and workers’
compensation claims
 Investigate, compile, and develop investigative reports on any incident/accident and near
misses that may occur, and ensure action items are adequately complete
 Conduct Root Cause Analyses in conjunction with Operations Leadership
 Prepare Safe Work Plans & Hazard Assessments
 Perform injury management with the designated occupational medical provider
 Manage regional drug testing protocol (All DOT and Non-DOT)
 Interface with client management and client HSE representatives
 Ensure that the monthly reporting to clients is complete, accurate, and on-time
 Ensure that the region’s required employee safety training is current and complete
 Audit regional safety training to verify the region is meeting its client’s requirements
 Develop, implement, and conduct safety meeting training
 Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures through routine, comprehensive,
and collaborative auditing, verification, and validating activities
 Facilitate, coach, and promote the regional Behavior-Based Safety Program
 Actively participate in HSE Department conference meetings

 Team up with all department leaders to drive continuous improvement in HSE system
verification, validation, and recordkeeping systems
 Bachelor’s degree or relevant studies preferred
 4+ years of experience and/or training in Safety and Environmental Health or related field
 3+ years of experience in the safety-related role
 Strong understanding and knowledge of OSHA and Nevada-OSHA laws, regulations, and
 Strong knowledge of worker’s compensation and insurance claims
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and New Suite
 Strong analytical skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,785.00 – $83,000.00 per year
