EHS Manager/Facilities Coordinator – Long Beach

Responsibilities:

·       Implement safety program

·       Knowledge of OSHA, HAZCOM, DOT, incident reporting, ISO 14001

·       Monitor compliance, manage on site-hazardous waste, disposal and recordkeeping

·       Lead trainings and discussions on company initiatives – comfortable speaking in front of employees at every level of the company

·       Must speak up about observed safety issues – will have authority to stop operations until safety issue is resolved

·       Facilities responsibilities – vendor coordination/management, work orders

Team/Dynamic:

·       Report to Facilities VP

·       Oversee in-house facilities engineer

·       Company has start up feel, but going public this year

·       Independent role, dealing with different departments, comfortable with creating processes and confident to go to bat with ideas

Requirements:

·       Ability to multitask

·       Eager to grow with the company

·       Proficient in Word, Excel

·       5 years of experience

·       Degree in Occupational Safety is a plus
